Catching Summer

I have this named Catching Summer because this was the last week I get to be a bum and so it was literally catching up my summer 2013.
By the way, this is what I wore during the TOMS Event and when we ate at Bulgogi Brothers.

As I have passed the Medical Technology Board Exam last month, I jumped into applying for jobs and just a few days i get to be called in for an interview and had passed my requirements (some) and now I just finished my first week as an employee of Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Yes, I will be busy again but don't worry, I'll try my best to update my blog every now and then because just as much I am passionate about science and caring for patients, I am just as passionate in doing my own craft, my own art and publishing my authentic voice to the public.

Oh and just in case you are wondering, I am working now as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist so you will not be able to see me in the laboratory but in the specialized department that I am very lucky to be into.

Gray Cap (Thrifted), Yellow Printed Shirt (Giordano), Yellow Belt (Giordano), White Watch (Tomato), White Shorts (Giordano), Blue Socks (Oxygen) and White Mid Cut Shoes (Topman).

Unconventional Summer

Philippines is a tropical country, it's hot even in December. Good thing there is this place, Baguio who is known as the summer capital of the country, it is coined as that because Filipinos would be here as their heat escape from the scorching heat of the summer.

To tell you honestly, it was really not that cold there, although it was at least cold enough for me to wear these, I love winter clothes! I guess Baguio has changed so much since I was young, I wouldn't know though because this is my first time I have been there.

These were taken at SM Baguio, I just thought it would be very predictable to have my outfit shot taken in the woods so for a change... here you go! lol!

To know more about my visit in Baguio, click this link:

Bonnet (Oxygen), Aztec Printed Shirt (Forever 21), Red Striped Cardigan (Forever 21), Black Mittens (Forever 21), White Time Keeper (Tomato), Black Scarf (Thirfted) Full-length Denim Pants (Energie) and Brown Leather Boots (Forever 21).

Tell me what you think about this outfit.
Maybe suggest me places to visit? (inside or outside the Philippines).

The Black Scarf came from this "emergency kit" box that I got from Axe... and I shall not elaborate what that box is for. lol!

Nostalgia

You know how we would always be dressed so colorful, partnered with some denims when we were young? Well I gave that concept another try as I am asked to do some photos for a very good friend of mine, Mr. George Barcarse with one of my colleague, Loraine Samsin.

For more of our pictures please like George Barcarse Photography on Facebook and feel free to browse more of the photographer's creative shots.

Referring to my first outfit, since it is something of a style that I'd wear during my younger years I find it somehow nostalgic; Nostalgia is an emotion that I would often find comfort with.

Cap (NYC Brand), Sunglasses (Forever 21), Yellow Printed Shirt (GIORDANO), Denim Button-down Shirt (Esprit), Blue Full Length Pants (Forever 21), Blue Brown-laced Shoes (Topman), Eagle Necklace (Topman), LMAO Bracelet (Topman) and White Time Keeper (Tomato).

GIORDANO has a lot in store for you guys so please like them on FACEBOOK and follow them on TWITTER- @giordanophil for more updates.

What better way to further embrace the feeling of nostalgia than to be back at your High School right? So I visited Woodridge College and found an acknowledgement tarpaulin for me as I graduated with an award of Gold Medal for Leadership, I am very much proud that I was awarded this. To all my mentors who developed my potentials and patiently molded me to become who I am today, I cannot thank you enough.

My thanks to Joy Avilla for taking some of the pictures here.

Let Me Fall

Beige Bonnet (Korean brand), Eye Framer (Landmark), Black Scarf (Oxygen), Printed Shirt (Oxygen), Black Cross Necklace (Topman), Bracelets (thrifted), White Watch (Tomato), Full Length Pants (Energie) and Brown Boots (Forever 21).

This is the one I am wearing in these posts:

and that is because my friend Maureen asked me to dress up in my fall appropriate outfit for her project... yes I know I won't survive fall's chills if I actually wear this but you guys must understand that it was so hot that day. lol!

But somehow I hope there's fall in the Philippines also winter but please keep the temperature to 16 degrees Celsius... like the ones our AC's would have as the lowest... or it would be selfish since I only like it so we can wear winter clothes and not thinking about those who couldn't afford those thick clothing... hmmm... ok so I'm going to be contented with the kind of weather we have... I just hope it will not get hotter.

Feel free to comment!
