Celebrate the World

This is one of the outfits I had when I went to Baguio recently and I guess I have went all "Lorax" on this but hey where else better can I wear something like this right? lol.

I suppose it is kind of retro-ish and stuff but only because I want those decades where people care about nature so much, being an environmentalist that I am, I truly advocate to preserve nature to the simplest acts that I do everyday and I really hope you guys do too.

Aviator (Forever 21), Acrylic Necklace (Cravemmore)

Denim Vest (Topman), Long Sleeves Stiped Shirt (Forever 21).

Full Length Denim Pants (Energie)

Arm Candy (Aldo), Time Keeper (Ipod Nano, MAC)

Brown Sneakers (Topman).

Going back to the whole "saving the planet" thing, here is a link I found to give you some ideas how to help: http://www.50waystohelp.com/

Let us all do our part to preserve nature and continue Celebrating the World.

Tranquility

This is what I wore in the Previous Post, Designer Blooms Cafe.

In days like these you know you just gotta be prepared with your coats and umbrellas. It may be cloudy or rainy but it doesn't mean you can't pull something colorful and maybe happy.

College, Graduating, Board Exams, First job, everything came with such pressure and at the same time a blessing as they were all successful especially the job that I have right now since it's also in lieu with my being a Registered Medical Technologist. I am working in a hospital but i only get to work in a usual office hours, thus what I have in this very moment gives me Tranquility.

I don't have a lot to think of compared with my other colleagues and I intend to keep it that way. The only thing that I am striving for just like almost everyone is how to be stable independently STAT!

Blue Coat (Giorgio Armani), Green Shirt (Giordano), Green Belt (SM Accessories), Blue Full Length Pants (Forever 21)

Chain Bracelet (Topman), Beads Bracelet (Aldo), Necklace (Cravemore)

and white-laced gray loafers (Wade Shoes).

An Oath

I was not doing any vows but rather an oath as it was just my Oath Taking a few days ago and I just want to share to you guys what I have decided to wear which I find conducive for the excessive heat we are experiencing these days.

White Button-down (Zara)

Lighter hue of colors scientifically is known to make it more breathable from heat therefore making you feel cooler.

Brown and Gray Braided Belt (SM Accessories)

Wearing a plain white outfit can have a twist by playing on the accessories you wear like this belt, it just breaks out the monotony.

White Suit (Forever 21), White Full Length Pants (Uniqlo) and Brown Shoes (Zara).

Unconventional Summer

Philippines is a tropical country, it's hot even in December. Good thing there is this place, Baguio who is known as the summer capital of the country, it is coined as that because Filipinos would be here as their heat escape from the scorching heat of the summer.

To tell you honestly, it was really not that cold there, although it was at least cold enough for me to wear these, I love winter clothes! I guess Baguio has changed so much since I was young, I wouldn't know though because this is my first time I have been there.

These were taken at SM Baguio, I just thought it would be very predictable to have my outfit shot taken in the woods so for a change... here you go! lol!

To know more about my visit in Baguio, click this link:

Bonnet (Oxygen), Aztec Printed Shirt (Forever 21), Red Striped Cardigan (Forever 21), Black Mittens (Forever 21), White Time Keeper (Tomato), Black Scarf (Thirfted) Full-length Denim Pants (Energie) and Brown Leather Boots (Forever 21).

Tell me what you think about this outfit.
Maybe suggest me places to visit? (inside or outside the Philippines).

The Black Scarf came from this "emergency kit" box that I got from Axe... and I shall not elaborate what that box is for. lol!

Swath

Long-sleeves button-down (Energie), Gray Graphic Shirt (Antony Morato), Brown Shorts (Energie), Borwn Striped Socks (SM Accessories), Shoes (Topman), Aviators (Forever 21) and Time Keeper (Rolex).

As I have mentioned from my previous post, I just got my boyzilian and all i can see in my nether region is swath of pure cleanliness... I think I will be keeping it this way.

Through the years of my life I have gained a lot yet also lost some, oh well it is inevitable. There may be things that I can see through the "swath of my life" like my health lol! But seriously I have been sick for quite some time now, next would be the people that I have been with and sometimes I can't help but to accept that we are taking different roads now and lastly are the dreams and ideals that used to be important to me, it saddens  me somehow but then again moving on is a process that needs to be done enable to live and so I do it as quickly as possible. No time to waste.

Few days from now it will be my birthday again and I am happy that despite some sad thoughts I may be having, in totality I am indeed... happy.

Hope I made sense to you guys and I hope that you like the outfit plus a new vocabulary word for some! Feel free to comment and yes, thank you to all the people who will give me gifts. :)

Thank you to Joy Avilla for taking these pictures for me.

Nostalgia

You know how we would always be dressed so colorful, partnered with some denims when we were young? Well I gave that concept another try as I am asked to do some photos for a very good friend of mine, Mr. George Barcarse with one of my colleague, Loraine Samsin.

For more of our pictures please like George Barcarse Photography on Facebook and feel free to browse more of the photographer's creative shots.

Referring to my first outfit, since it is something of a style that I'd wear during my younger years I find it somehow nostalgic; Nostalgia is an emotion that I would often find comfort with.

Cap (NYC Brand), Sunglasses (Forever 21), Yellow Printed Shirt (GIORDANO), Denim Button-down Shirt (Esprit), Blue Full Length Pants (Forever 21), Blue Brown-laced Shoes (Topman), Eagle Necklace (Topman), LMAO Bracelet (Topman) and White Time Keeper (Tomato).

GIORDANO has a lot in store for you guys so please like them on FACEBOOK and follow them on TWITTER- @giordanophil for more updates.

What better way to further embrace the feeling of nostalgia than to be back at your High School right? So I visited Woodridge College and found an acknowledgement tarpaulin for me as I graduated with an award of Gold Medal for Leadership, I am very much proud that I was awarded this. To all my mentors who developed my potentials and patiently molded me to become who I am today, I cannot thank you enough.

My thanks to Joy Avilla for taking some of the pictures here.

Not Like The Movies

Something I'm very fond of looking at... not the flower! But the residual dew after the rain or sometimes when it's early in the morning.

Yes, this is my friend Jay Pineda and if you have been reading my blog ever since or following me on twitter you might have known that we got a lot of history...no, not the romantic one of course. Oh if you want to know more about her please CLICK HERE

Yes from time to time I like my pictures closed eyes lol!

Eagle Necklace (Topman), Yellow Longsleeves Plaid Shirt (Giordano)

LMAO Bracelet (Topman), Belt rings (Topman), Striped Belt (Giordano), Yellow Watch (Thrifted)

Blue Full Length Pants (Forever 21), Gray Socks (Giordano) and Brown Laced Blue Sneakers (Topman)

Thank you to the guy with the orange shorts for posing too! lol!

No she's not sad, it's just her default setting. We have talked about that for so many times and how people would misunderstand that look haha!

This is the main reason of the title of this outfit/blog post. I know we were so inspired with Katy Perry that time especially how she tried to work her marriage. Learned a lot of things from there and I hope you guys have watched it too! BTW, the 3D glasses were not heart-shaped not like other countries'.

Anyway, I am not supposed to endorse Katy Perry nor the movie but my outfit and how I styled it with pieces from Giordano. I hope you guys like it!
