Nostalgia

You know how we would always be dressed so colorful, partnered with some denims when we were young? Well I gave that concept another try as I am asked to do some photos for a very good friend of mine, Mr. George Barcarse with one of my colleague, Loraine Samsin.

For more of our pictures please like George Barcarse Photography on Facebook and feel free to browse more of the photographer's creative shots.

Referring to my first outfit, since it is something of a style that I'd wear during my younger years I find it somehow nostalgic; Nostalgia is an emotion that I would often find comfort with.

Cap (NYC Brand), Sunglasses (Forever 21), Yellow Printed Shirt (GIORDANO), Denim Button-down Shirt (Esprit), Blue Full Length Pants (Forever 21), Blue Brown-laced Shoes (Topman), Eagle Necklace (Topman), LMAO Bracelet (Topman) and White Time Keeper (Tomato).

GIORDANO has a lot in store for you guys so please like them on FACEBOOK and follow them on TWITTER- @giordanophil for more updates.

What better way to further embrace the feeling of nostalgia than to be back at your High School right? So I visited Woodridge College and found an acknowledgement tarpaulin for me as I graduated with an award of Gold Medal for Leadership, I am very much proud that I was awarded this. To all my mentors who developed my potentials and patiently molded me to become who I am today, I cannot thank you enough.

My thanks to Joy Avilla for taking some of the pictures here.

SPOT THE INDIFFERENCE

Denim shirt (Esprit), Spotted Shirt (OXYGEN), Bracelet (OXYGEN), Full Length Pants (Wrangler), Flannel (Ralph Lauren), Brown Boots (Forever 21).

As I have promised, I will do an outfit post of what I wore mainly for the Flique Magazine Launch and which I also wore during Dell's Event since they were both held during one day and I couldn't have the luxury to go back to my house which is in Cavite (will probably take an hour or two for a ride).

I chose to wear this because I thought it had the 90's vibe... well I haven't get to do much research as I'm very bombarded with things I have to do in my current life but I think the fashion that time has a lot to do with denims as I have remembered (pardon my memory I was really just a kid back in the 90's).

Another reason why I had this as my outfit during that day because I am just so excited to wear that spotted shirt I got from Oxygen, don't you guys think it's just so neat!?

Oh and a friend of mine once told me that most fashion bloggers get to have their outfit shots looking away or doing some "candid" stuff and few would look straight into the camera, now in that connection I have a concrete idea why I look away or whatever... it is simply because I am trying to look good/thin, I just got to have the proper angle to show more jaw as an illusion to be skinny and show less of those unwanted curves and rolls.

I hope I somehow entertained you with this post and if you have suggestions on how I would look better on pictures PLEASE do tell me and feel free to comment about anything related to this post and please do hype my look on Lookbook!

Special thanks to Mr. George Barcarse for these very wonderful shots!

Time and Time

Denim top (Esprit), Gray Long-sleeves Shirt (OXYGEN), Maroon Full-length Pants (Topman), Shoes (Topman), Bone Bracelet (OS Accessories), Rings (Bring Rings), Time Keeper (Rolex).

If you have been keeping track of my looks, you will definitely recognize that I like to wear same clothes and shoes every now and then and just incorporate it with the new ones that I got.

Yes, just like most people, I, too have limits on wardrobe and it's actually an upside for me because it pushes my creativity on  how to mix and match so that I can have a different look yet using the same clothes, it gives me the virtue of being thrifty and economical.

I am by far more empowered to this idea, by the way, when Laureen Uy tweeted that repeating clothes is ok as long as you style them differently.

So there you go! What do you think guys? Share your mix and match to me as well! I love seeing how people can be so creative.
