Designer Blooms Cafe

Designer Blooms is one of our local florist stores that we can really count on when it comes to the freshest quality flowers and just like their Cafe which has been running for about a year now is also promising you to give the freshest delicacies that will satisfy your taste buds.

Designer Blooms Cafe is also filled with such lovely floral and herb plants that are not just good for display but you may also purchase it there. It truly gives that Sunday Garden Brunch vibe doesn't it?

I love how modern and eclectic their interior is with the added elegance thanks to these mirrors.

It is very ideal to start every meal with a refreshing beverage first.

This is actually Megann Monday's Cafe Macchiato. I oredered their Latte instead and it's quite good, not to die for but it's good.

They also got alcoholic beverages though.

This is their Hearty Mushroom Soup, it's good for me. I enjoyed it, although Angel said it is quite salty but for my taste I loved it.

The first spread is Tomatoes, I generally like tomatoes so my judgement would be biased. The second one is Bruschetta and Grilled Mushroom Salpicao, this one is perfect with the hint of spicy I think this one is my favorite among the three. The third one is Tinapa Mousse, It just has a dominant flavor of cheese with a subtle taste of fish, I'm amazed how it tastes so surprisingly appetizing since I don't like fish so much.

I fully recommend you guys to order these when you go here.

Spinach-Artichoke Grilled Chicken Panini.
This one is a complete meal with the meat and vegetables in it and it can surely make you feel full.

DBC Jalapeno Burger.
See how fat the patty is!? Don't get threatened with the Jalapeno on its name, it is pretty tolerable. I am guy in search for the best burger in town (Just like the gang in HIMYM) and somehow I would consider this on my list.

Truffle Mac and Cheese.
Truffle, Cheese and Bacon this indulging tempting mistress will definitely lead you to sin sweetly.
I know ya'll try this!

Pepperoni Panizza.
I like it when I get to customize my food just like this one.
And here's a tutorial on how to prepare it:

Put the basil leaves, rocket aragula, alfalfa sprouts and tomatoes.

Make sure you get them placed still because you will be rolling it and must prevent all the toppings to fall.

Put some oil to it for more flavor.

Don't forget to smile and be happy when you're doing it, moods can alter flavors. :)

Roll it nicely... sorry for the veinful hands that I have lol!

Then dig in! (I love this part).

I wanna thank Angel Rodriguez (www.lilmisswonderwoman.com) for inviting me over and Megann Monday (www.spellmegann.blogspot.com) for helping me with the pictures. I will never forget my camera again... nor its battery haha!

Do not forget to try

Manila Maki

Due to my consistent use of my perks with Enjoy Philippines, they gave me a reward which was a dinner at Manila Maki.

To see details of this look see previous post.

Was planning to get this but they said that the voucher given by Enjoy Phils cannot be used to it... Too bad their promo has ended but I can feel more promos will come just stay updated with them through their facebook page:

This is how the restaurant looks like inside and featuring my friend, Lawrence Castro who helped me take photos that day. (P.S. Thank you!)

The lighting is quite dim for a restaurant or maybe they are really going for that ambiance.

On the left is their house blend ice tea which tastes a lot like bori tea which is good and very oriental and on the right is a buko lychee shake which has this perfect blending of the two flavors without compromising the other. These are huge by the way.

This is their Miso Soup. All of their food here has a local twist and as for this one they made it quite sour with a hint of tamarind.

This is their Sisigdon.

Bon Bon Chicken. What made this more special for me is the mayo sauce they put in it, it just taste perfect to me.

Veggiedon which consists of different vegetables with nori strips and crab meat strips.

A last! The Manila Maki's Manila Maki. It is topped with a fresh slice of tuna and the inside consists of Kani Salad and Nilasing na Hipon. This is one of their house specialty and you can try it for a very affordable price of 245php.

As you can see we had to take a doggy bag because we didn't get to finish everything that 1000php voucher given by Enjoy Philippines can order so basically they're servings are big and many, I should've invited one more, but oh well, I believe Lawrence and I had a really foodgasmic time here and we recommend it to you guys!

I would like to thank Enjoy Philippines and Manila Maki for this experience!

Market Cafe @ Hyatt Hotel

I think it is called Market Cafe because it has the concept of seaside restaurants where you'll buy your desired ingredients and have it cooked by the chef. This is sort of the same but this goes on a buffet type plus everything is securely fresh as it gives you quality and quantity at the same time!

These are they're cold cuts:

Lamb Chops

Tenderloins and other prime quality meat cold cuts.

Lobsters! This is like my favorite seafood!

Seafood cold cuts.

You just put whatever you want in a plate and give it to the chef and tell him how you want it to be cooked, whether fried, sauteed, grilled, buttered, baked or whatever! You may even ask them to have it medium rare up to well done.

This is the kind of service you'd really pay for.

They got lots of stations here and I'm sorry but I have to show them randomly.

This pineapple ice tea is truly refreshing.

I had all my meat cold cuts grilled to just medium and I tell you they taste perfect!

I actually don't know what I want with my shrimps and lobsters so I told them to surprise me and they did not disappoint, I was really satisfied with how they baked it.

They have this ice cream bar! I got a few taste of it because i was so full but hey, they taste decadent!

All time Filipino favorite! Halo-halo! Yes, you may create your own halo-halo here.

You may dip these sweet delights on chocolate at their chocolate fountain.

As I have told it is regularly around 2,000php but with their promo right here it all goes worth it with the kind of food they cater and the service the give.

It's truly a plus factor when the cooks and reception people are smiling when they serve you and that they are always ready to give you your needs... beyond the food they serve this is something I take into consideration so thank you Market Cafe for the very nice buffet dinner!

Watch out this June as they have a 40% discount to dads out there (60 years old and above) and the promo 4+1 meaning if you guys are five who will dine in, one will be for free.
