Let Me Fall

Beige Bonnet (Korean brand), Eye Framer (Landmark), Black Scarf (Oxygen), Printed Shirt (Oxygen), Black Cross Necklace (Topman), Bracelets (thrifted), White Watch (Tomato), Full Length Pants (Energie) and Brown Boots (Forever 21).

This is the one I am wearing in these posts:

and that is because my friend Maureen asked me to dress up in my fall appropriate outfit for her project... yes I know I won't survive fall's chills if I actually wear this but you guys must understand that it was so hot that day. lol!

But somehow I hope there's fall in the Philippines also winter but please keep the temperature to 16 degrees Celsius... like the ones our AC's would have as the lowest... or it would be selfish since I only like it so we can wear winter clothes and not thinking about those who couldn't afford those thick clothing... hmmm... ok so I'm going to be contented with the kind of weather we have... I just hope it will not get hotter.

Feel free to comment!

SURF Aromatherapy: Fabric Conditioner

In every household, I know laundry can often times make us stressed and tired with all the work done even if we now have washing machines. Luckily, Surf provides us Fabric Conditioners that has essential oils that not only makes our clothes smell good but our moods to be in good condition as well through aromatherapy.

Essential oils can help and improve our well-being as through absorption by the skin or through inhalation by the lungs as it gives physiologic effects on our body.

These fabric conditioners have the good blend of two of the world's most famous essential oils:
Tuberose oil = known for easing the mind and providing relief from stress and tension.
Patchouli oil = uplifts the mood and helps create a stress-free atmosphere. Therefore when combined, these two can give the best calming effect for your senses.

Oh and just so you know, over 1,000,000 flowers were put to be extracted just to create these oils so just imagine how luxurious the scent is, trust me I have tried 'em.

My thanks to Fuentes Manila for inviting me to Surf's event at Aracama with the pleasure of having good massages, yes you read it right! Massages!

 I loved the guyabano shake.

Here goes the MASSAGES from:
Spa Wherever You Are
Asian Massage and
Mont Albo

The massages are perfect way to introduce to us Surf's campaign, "Me O'clock" which is mostly for the mommies out there. The campaign aims to encourage mothers to have some break that they truly deserve especially since a lot of filipino moms are not the old-school housewife anymore because nowadays they are often the breadwinner as well, having our moms to relax is like giving us a favor as well (aside from the fact that they will not yell us more lol) for when they are well rested and rejuvenated they will have more energy to love us more.

To give moms a special treat every now and then, Surf Aromatherapy Conditioner Spa Time Bus will go around the metro and will be giving free massages, pedicure and manicure!

Surf will also be putting up some tips and suggestions on how they can spend quality time with their loved ones, learning new relaxing activities on their facebook page that will also serve as a platform for moms to interact with each other and discuss important matters of being a mom through sharing of experiences.
So to every mom out their like their facebook page now!

Moms can also join their photo contest where they can get a chance to win a vacation getaway for two to Boracay, Palawan or Cebu inclusive of airfare, hotel accommodations and full board meals! For more details please see their facebook page NOW!

Oh yeah, everyone won from their giveaways except for me :(
haha! oh well maybe next time!

It was a very fun and relaxing event and if you have grabbed yesterday's Philippine Star, you'll find me there laying and having my foot spa lol!

By the way, my dad is the one doing the laundry in our household and he has been putting fabric conditioner now and he has been in a very good mood lately and before he would always complain insomniac but now he has been having good sleep so here's my testimony on aromatherapy.

The Art + Science of Image

Yesterday, February 25, 2012, Lawrence Castro and I attended AICI (Association of Image Consultants International)'s Seminar on The Art + Science of Image at Raffles, The Fort where we were given a broader spectrum of what being an image consultant is and how things work for image consultants and of course a revolutionary perspective on beauty with Dr. Vicky Belo.

Mr. Bill

Ms. "Candid" Carol.

They were the ones who hosted the event.

Ms. Dina Loomis, AICI FLC
She is the first Filipina Image Consultant in the Philippines and she gave us a talk about
INTRODUCING IMAGE CONSULTANCY: POSSIBILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL AND BUSINESS GROWTH.

Whether what field you are in, image consultancy will be able to improve more on your career because through the development of our personalities we will be able to satisfy more our consumers especially on the service we give them especially nowadays that interpersonal relationship and communication is well observed by clients and customers and not just the output of our works.

Ms. Delby Bragais, AICI CIP, CPC
She is an award-winning Fashion Designer and Image Specialist and she rendered us her talk about
INCREASE YOUR PERSONAL IMPACT THROUGH MARVELOUS MAKEOVERS

As a designer, I must say that she's one of the most credible people in the room to ever talk about what beauty is. One of the things that made a mark to me is the question "Why should we make an impact?" Well, we simply make an impact because we would want to feel we exist primarily but to make an impact is to touch lives and the power to influence and we will only be successful in doing that if we will be credible on our own with the sense of confidence, honesty and that inner beauty that cultivates the external as well, thus leaving us a makeover more than the most prestigious salon could ever do.

Another thing that struck me was the idea that everyday we should always strive to make ourselves better in every field/area. Each and everyone of us is entitled to have that holistic growth and development.

Now the following are members of the organization who has their own specialties in obtaining AICI's objectives:

Here are the refreshments that they have provided us and they were all delicious!

Lawrence and Ms. Jennifer Marino

With Ms. Jennifer Marino, Massimo Dutti Brand Manager

With Mr. Che who told me a lot of tips in Photography.
Thank you sir!

Dr. Vicky Belo
Also known as Doctor to the Stars and Ambassadress of Beauty.
She gave us a preview on
THE LATEST TECHNIQUES ON BEAUTY TREATMENTS, ANTI-AGEING AND WEIGHT LOSS

There are indeed revolutionary technologies in the area of making ourselves beautiful on the outside and what is really fascinating about it is the fact that they have grown to be non-invasive, if not less, no negative side-effects and just safer in general not to mention quick and the fastest results yet.
With Dr. Belo introducing us the different machines and ways to make us more appealing in the human eye, I must say in that moment, i have considered myself undergoing those procedures just to satisfy my urge to make myself better.

After hearing these talks of different advocacy, I am very much interested and convinced of joining the organization and moreover to become an Image Consultant and be able to inspire more people, well anyways as you all have known I have built this blog and continue posting every activity I have through each month to have you guys motivated and inspired.

If you got questions or clarifications please do put it on the comment box below and help you on any of your inquiries.
